Changes made in Logic Pro 10.4.5 unfortunately prevent the ability to write automation data for all parameters with discrete (non-numerical) values via control changes in the plug-in interface during playback. This issue affects Auto-Tune Access, Auto-Tune EFX+, and Auto-Tune Artist.
For example, if you engage Write, Touch, or Latch automation mode and change the Key or Scale parameters during playback, no automation data is recorded to the track. But parameters with continuous numerical values (e.g. Retune Speed) are not affected by this issue, and all parameters can read previously recorded automation data during playback.
• All parameters with discrete non-numerical values controlled via drop-down menus and buttons (Key, Scale, Formant, etc.)
• If you've already upgraded to Logic Pro 10.4.5, you can use the Pencil tool to manually draw automation data for the affected parameters.
• Logic Pro 10.4.4 and previous versions are not affected by this issue. If you're still using Logic Pro 10.4.4 or earlier versions, you could refrain from updating Logic until this issue is resolved.
We apologize for the inconvenience and understand how this can be disruptive to user workflows. We've notified Apple about the issue and are working with them to resolve it as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
